Thank you for your interest!

The Burton Chamber of Commerce exists to support the development and promotion of businesses and organizations that help make our community a great place to live, work and do business in. Here are some of the opportunities available to you when you become a Burton Chamber member.

Ribbon Cutting Events

We will help promote and celebrate your new business, renovation, or milestone anniversary with a ribbon cutting ceremony, with post-event coverage on social media and in the Genesee County View Newspaper.

Grow Your Business Network

The Burton Chamber meets on the third Wednesday of every month for a Networking lunch attended by other success-minded individuals. Come have an excellent Burton sourced and tax-deductible lunch for only $5 while we educate each other regarding our businesses and organizations. Enjoy a special speaker, 50-50 drawings and door prizes in a fast-paced and encouraging atmosphere, confident in the power of the “Dombrowski’s 75 minutes or less guarantee” to get you back on the road and making an impact! This is an excellent opportunity to build relationships with others in your community while we help build each other’s success. We also periodically host and join with other Chambers’ for after-hours networking events.

Increased Social Media Visibility and Impact

We place your social media and website links in your member profile on burtonchamber.org. Ask us about having content shared and featured on our Facebook page, reels and stories. We can even help you make your own! We can also send out an e-mail blast for your special events, but don’t worry- we will never spam our members.

Start Saving Today

We encourage you to take advantage of discounts available through our Member-to-Member program, which are listed on our burtonchamber.org member directory.

Belonging to your local chamber of commerce benefits your community; your customers, neighbors and institutions- in ways you may have never considered.

By sharing resources and helping to coordinate, promote and sponsor fundraising efforts, we can have a greater impact on our community together than we can alone. Even though Burton has the lowest annual membership dues of any chamber in the region, membership has an impact. Here are some examples.

We have been able to grant sponsorships to local school districts for industrial and technological programs such as the highly popular FIRST Robotics teams. This program strongly supports and encourages our students’ participation at all levels of technological and mechanical trades and administration of business.

The Burton Chamber sponsors and promotes multiple worthy causes, working closely with non-profits like the Old Newsboys of Flint along with charitable organizations such as food pantries, clothing closets and others. Since its inception, we have sponsored and helped to coordinate the “Project Heat’s On- Burton” program that has helped hundreds of Burton’s homeowners able to safely heat their homes, while heading off multiple potential tragedies.

Our chamber board members include the founders and maintainers of the popular and growing Burton Road Race series which has helped broaden Burton’s reputation as a highly walkable and runnable community and attracts many out-of-town competitors and guests.

In 2024 the Burton Chamber introduced our ongoing Burton Rock and Blues Fest to highlight and encourage local and regional musical artists, enhancing local culture while honoring our beloved veterans. We were able to partner with many in the community to provide a high-quality, family friendly event, expanding Burton’s claim of being Genesee County’s Memorial Day Weekend event destination while providing sponsorship opportunities for our members to be recognized by their grateful community.
